About Me

From user-to-User Experience Designer.

I am a User Experience Designer with a Bachelor's of Science in Interactive Design from Kennesaw State University.

Interaction Design is a way for me to engage with people and understand why users feel the way they do, meanwhile being involved in visual design. I love designing and creating iterations of my designs. I love talking to people and learning about their perspectives. I think I truly found my fit in this field.

That said, I started college as a Graphic Design major, as it piqued my interest in high school. I spent five years immersed in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator. I worked as a Graphic Design Student Assistant throughout my freshman year of college. I even connected with the founder of Pour Up Atlanta, Raven Johnson, through my Emerging Leaders Scholarship, and I’ve been designing marketing materials for her ever since. Through her generosity, I’ve had the privilege to work on several designs for other small companies. Despite my wonderful experience in the Graphic Design community, switching to the Interactive Design major was a no brainer.

In my final semester of college, I balanced a full-time class load alongside a full-time UX Design internship at Incident IQ. At this internship, I played a big role in the organization of the company-wide Design System and its documentation. My daily tasks ranged from creating and documenting components, designing UI screens, creating journey maps, and participating in meetings and user interviews. This internship awarded me a wealth of knowledge and experience in the UX field.

Most recently, I have been working full-time as a UX Design specialist at Brunnerworks. Brunnerworks is a customer-centric marketing agency that provides creative services to a multitude of clients. Being a member of the growing UX team at this company has awarded me the opportunity for continuous growth. My daily tasks range from auditing websites and meeting with stakeholders, to building out design systems and crafting new interfaces in Figma. In this role, I get the chance to work hands-on with developers, project managers, the creative design team, and many more. Being a team-player within various departments has taught me so much about UX from an internal and external perspective. I look forward to growing within this team, and as I continue to learn more about the field of user experience, I grow exceedingly excited for the career ahead of me.
